Hunter obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas
in 1986 and then earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989. Upon graduation, Hunter served as Regulatory Counsel
for the Chemical Producers and Distributors Association in Washington D.C. While in D.C., Hunter obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in Environmental Law from the George Washington University National Law Center. In 1994, Hunter served as General Counsel to the Drexel Chemical Company in Memphis, Tennessee, counseling the company on business and commercial, environmental, and employment matters.
